I agree with some of the commenters saying this is a very anecdotal and perhaps generalized and/or biased piece but it’s nonetheless important and something I seem to see in my friends and friends of friends, etc. all the time.

A good friend of mine has been in a relationship with an abusive asshole for the past seven years because he’s gaslighting the shit out of her. I know she won’t see this for what it is but maybe it’ll help her think about it a bit.
